About kilimanjaro

Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Hotel

Pick-up Location: Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Transfer to Hotel: [Senator Hotel, Arusha] https://www.senatorhotel.co.tz
Activities: Briefing by your mountain guide, gear check, and rest
Overnight: Senator Hotel, Arusha

Day 2: Drive to Londorossi Gate – Start Trek to Mti Mkubwa Camp

Early at the morning all mountain clew arrival at hotel and all mountain equipment on private
bus to start safari directly to mountain gate. Stop half of our journey for brief refreshment and
buy some snacks in supermarket, coffee. After arrival to gate for registration and got lunch there
before start hiking.

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp

Day 4: Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp

Altitude: 3,610m to 3,850m

Day 5: Shira 2 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower

Altitude: 3,850m to 3,960m (via 4,600m at Lava Tower)

Day 6: Barranco to Karanga Camp

Day 8: Summit Day – Barafu to Uhuru Peak, descend to Mweka Camp
