Safari Description

Day 1: Kigoma – Gombe National Park

• Pick-up: From Kigoma Airport / Bus Stand → Transfer to boat location.
• Boat Journey: 1 hour 30 minutes cruise across Lake Tanganyika to Gombe National Park.
• Arrival & Check-in: Settle into your camp/lodge.

Morning Activity: 

 Chimpanzee Trekking (No.1) – Follow the trails and observe the famous chimpanzees in their natural habitat. 

 • Waterfalls Visit – Refreshing hike to Kakombe or Mkenke waterfalls. 

 • Lunch & Relaxation: Return to camp for lunch, relaxation, and optional swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tanganyika. 

 Afternoon:

  -Sunset viewing over Lake Tanganyika – breathtaking photo opportunity.

 – Dinner & Overnight: At the camp inside Gombe National Park.

Day 2: Gombe National Park – Kigoma

• 07:30 AM – Breakfast at camp.
• 08:00 AM – Chimpanzee Trekking (No.2) – Spend about 1 hour observing the chimpanzees,
learning about their behavior, and enjoying close encounters.
• 11:30 AM – Return to camp, have an early lunch.
• Check-out – Prepare for departure.
• Boat Ride – Transfer back across Lake Tanganyika to Kigoma town.
• Drop-off – Kigoma Airport / Bus Stand.
